PROTOTYPING THE AEROSPACE OF TOMORROW
Yes to AIRTEC 21, because we are the next generation of aviation.
“We are exhibiting at AIRTEC 21, because we present the aviation of tomorrow. With our 58 students from over 20 countries, we are an interdisciplinary and international interface between industry, research and the university. HORYZN – Prototyping the aerospace of tomorrow.”
Teamlead Business and Certification
HORYZN – 58 students, 21 nations, 8 faculties of the Technical University of Munich, 1 goal: to save lives. In our current “Mission Pulse” project, we are developing and building an eVTOL UAV that, in the event of a cardiovascular arrest, flies a defibrillator autonomously and BVLOS to the place of use. Lowered on site using a winch, a mobile phone-activated lay helper takes over the defibrillator and reanimates the patient. We reach the patient much faster than the ambulance and can therefore triple the chances of survival.
