Volocopter is building the world’s first sustainable and scalable urban air mobility business to bring affordable air taxi services to megacities worldwide. With the VoloCity, the company is developing the first fully electric “eVTOL” aircraft in certification to safely and quietly transport passengers and goods within cities. Volocopter leads and cooperates with partners in infrastructure, operations, and air traffic management to build the ecosystem necessary to ‘bring urban air mobility to life’.
This session is an introduction to Volocopter’s business model, solutions, and the latest insights about developing the VoloDrone, the first-to-market, heavy-lift drone with various applications for multiple industries. Peter Littau, Commercial Lead VoloDrone, will give an overview about how this 100% electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft will be a game changer for remotely piloted and autonomous aerial transportation.
After successfully completing his degree in Business Administration and working as a management consultant for six years, Peter stepped into the urban air mobility (UAM) scene scouting and developing future mobility start-ups as a Venture Developer at Innogy Innovation Hub. He played a formative role in the UAM industry in its earliest form. By 2018, he had joined Volocopter and was facilitating the company’s expansion into Southeast Asia. Now, he is strategically positioning the rollout of the VoloDrone as Commercial Lead at Volocopter.
