How to travel easily to Messe Augsburg trade fair grounds by car

Messe Augsburg is right on the B17. Signs lead you straight to the trade fair grounds.

Brief directions

We generally recommend that visitors traveling to Messe Augsburg from the city and the surrounding area travel by public transportation or the Augsburg local public transportation (AVV). This avoids unnecessary waiting times at the vehicle entry and you won’t have to look for a parking space.

Take the A8 München-Stuttgart to the junction Augsburg-West. Then take the B17 in the direction of Landsberg a. Lech and exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe.

Take the A73 and, at the motorway intersection Nürnberg Süd (Nuremberg South), take the A6 in the direction of Heilbronn / Ansbach to the junction Schwabach. Then take the B2 in the direction of Donauwörth. At the Augsburg-West intersection, take the B17 in the direction of Landsberg a. Lech. Exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe.

From the Allgäu region / Switzerland

Take the A96 in the direction of München to the junction Landsberg a. Lech West. Then take the B17 in the direction of Augsburg to the exit Augsburg Messe.
 

From Austria

  • Via the A94, A99 and A8
    Take the A94 in the direction of München to the motorway intersection München-Ost (Munich-East). Then take the A99 in the direction of Stuttgart / Nürnberg. Follow the signs to A99 in the direction of Stuttgart / Augsburg / Dachau / Fürstenfeldbruck and take the A8. Exit the motorway at the junction Augsburg-West. Then take the B17 in the direction of Landsberg a. Lech and exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe
     
  • Via the A8 and A96
    Take the A8 in the direction of München to the motorway intersection München-Süd (Munich-South). Follow the signs to Nürnberg / Stuttgart / Messe / München, Flughafen (Munich Airport) / A99. Take the exit Garmisch-P. / München / Giesing / Mittlerer Ring. Travel to A96 and take the A96 in the direction of Lindau to the junction Landsberg a. Lech West. Then take the B17 in the direction of Augsburg and exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe.
  • Via the A9
    Take the B300 to the junction Dasing. Then take the A8 in the direction of Stuttgart. Exit the motorway at the junction Augsburg-West. Then take the B17 in the direction of Landsberg a. Lech and exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe.
     
  • Via the A7
    Take the A7 to the junction Ulm-Elchingen. Then take the A8 in the direction of München. Exit the motorway at the junction Augsburg-West. Then take the B17 in the direction of Landsberg a. Lech and exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe.
     
  • Via the B2
    Take the B2 to Gersthofen and then take the B17 in the direction of Landsberg a. Lech. Exit the federal highway at the exit Augsburg-Messe.
